Milk thistle is promoted as a dietary supplement for hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, diabetes, indigestion and other ailments.


Milk thistle can cause:

There is also concern that milk thistle may affect estrogen levels.
It is recommended to avoid milk thistle if you have breast, uterine, ovarian, endometriosis or uterine fibroids.
